In the end, Emma looked remarkably like Monica. She had her smile, her ears, her cute little nose, and bundles of brown hair that fell into places on her head. However, when Michael looked into the girl’s blue eyes, he didn’t see either. Both children had blue eyes – except for Emma. He couldn’t place where she could have gotten them from, and it bugged him.
