BILLY DEE WILLIAMS, 82 YEARS OLD
“Billy Dee” Williams Jr. is an American artist, singer, and actor well known for playing the role of Lando Calrissian from the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. Billy was also involved in popular productions such as the 1971 film Brian’s Song. He also appeared in Lady Sings the Blues and Batman. In the 1982 Batman, he played the role of Harvey Dent. Billy also wanted to be a musician and decided to give it a shot. He has a jazz LP recorded which was produced by Prestige Records. It was a good thing Billy decided to do it since the album was a commercial success. Because of this, he joined the crew behind Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever in celebration of Motown Records’ 25th year.
