Nadia and her pals were performing a variety of gymnastic stunts in the schoolyard one day. Fortunately, a famous gymnastics coach named Béla Károlyi noticed her at age 6 and enrolled her in his preparatory gymnastics school. This is the first job she ever had. Because of her dedication to the sport, her innate talent, and Bela’s coaching, she went on to become one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.

Bela insisted that Nadia train for at least three hours every day. For Nadia’s convenience, she didn’t have to go far to get to Béla’s gymnastics school, as she, fortunately, lived right next door to it. When Nadia competed as an amateur for the first time, she had a lot of trouble landing after completing the elements. However, Béla never gave up on her and always pushed her to improve. After a while, she started landing with much more precision and her performance level rose. The combination of Nadia’s drive and Béla’s support allowed her to become a gymnastics superstar.
