When John and Sarah first met six months ago, they clicked right away, and John knew he wanted to hang out with her more. But each time he attempted to approach her, she appeared to back off. He was concerned that she was just looking for a good time and wasn’t interested in a relationship, but he had no idea that there was much more going on.

To save his relationship with Sarah, John made the decision to organize a romantic supper. He intended to pick her up unexpectedly outside her workplace and take her to a hidden area. The following day, around 5:00 PM, John left for Sarah’s place of employment. He awaited her arrival outside before giving her a substantial arrangement of flowers. Sarah was surprised because she hadn’t anticipated John’s unexpected appearance. She didn’t appear as content, though, as John had hoped.

John helped Sarah get into a taxi after shaking off his apprehension. So that Sarah wouldn’t find out where they were heading, he gave the driver the address on a note. He planned to blindfold her when they were almost there. At first, Sarah balked, but after some convincing, she agreed to let him put the blindfold on.

On a lovely seaside pier, the table was elegantly arranged. Sarah was still wearing her blindfold, so he carefully led her to the table and removed it. When Sarah first saw all the candles, she gasped and appeared ecstatic. She abruptly altered her expression, though, and fled without saying anything.

John was in awe. He had put a lot of thought into organizing this special supper. And Sarah simply took off? How was this possible for her to do to him? There has to be another factor at play. John made the choice to eat dinner by himself. But he wasn’t going to ignore this. What Sarah was keeping from him intrigued him.

He therefore texted her that evening. He gave his words a lot of care because he didn’t want to come off as being arrogant. But he wanted to assure her that he was staying put. He anticipated Sarah to text back straight away since he assumed she would feel bad for abandoning him in that way, but she didn’t.

The following morning when John awoke, he checked his texts right away. But Sarah hasn’t sent any texts yet. He groaned. The past six months had been so pleasant and laid-back with Sarah, and he feared that last night he had ruined his chances. But you have to admit that most women would melt if a man did something similar for them.

She might not respond to his texts, but if he were there in front of her, she would be unable to ignore him. But when he got to her residence, he observed something that was really perplexing.

After a while of Sarah being in his path, she eventually stopped. She waited while seated on a park bench. While hiding behind a tree, John continued to monitor her every move. It was clear to John that she was waiting for someone because she didn’t have a book or anything else to occupy her time. And who?

But as soon as a woman arrived, Sarah got to her feet. They embraced before returning to their seats. Their relaxed body language suggested to John that they were well acquainted. While they were having an intense conversation, the other woman grabbed Sarah’s arm and placed her hand on her knee.

John was unable to understand what they were saying, but it appeared that the other woman was attempting to console Sarah. They parted ways after exchanging cheek kisses and hugs. John was totally perplexed. What did this indicate? Sarah sat back down on the seat and sighed as the woman departed. She was obviously thinking about something.

John, though, was then nearly discovered. Because John’s phone wasn’t on mute when Sarah picked up her phone and dialed his number. He immediately fled from Sarah before she could notice him as his ringtone resounded throughout the park. As soon as he felt the situation was under control, he picked up the phone.

Despite being out of breath from racing, John made an effort to appear shocked by her call. “Hi, Sarah,” he said as calmly as possible. “I’m sorry for ignoring your text and leaving you like that yesterday. He swiftly shifted the conversation. “Yes, I definitely want to talk. How about tomorrow after work? I’ll come by your house.” “Uhm, alright I-” “Alright, bye,” John interrupted her and hung up.

John thought as he sped home, “That was a close one.” He almost accidentally caught Sarah being spied on, which would not look good. He felt like he could finally breathe again when he arrived home. He would learn what was going on with Sarah and who that unidentified woman was tomorrow.

Should John just pardon her even if she had a justification?

He dressed to impress, gave himself a thorough oral hygiene routine, and then left. As he neared her home, his heart began to beat quickly. He had the option to turn around and return home, but he chose not to.

She said, “It’s good to see you,” and moved aside to let John enter. John returned the smile, but on the inside, he was miserable.

For John, the stress got to be too much and he started to feel dizzy. “Sorry, Sarah,” he said. He then got to his feet and went outside. John needed to get outside and breathe. Because he loved Sarah so much, the idea of her breaking the news to him broke his heart. But he had no idea that it wasn’t at all like that.

John was confident that he understood what Sarah had been lying to him about because she had just essentially admitted as much to him. He simply wanted to know so that he could go and go home. Sarah gave John a puzzled look. “Are you getting angry with me?”, she muttered, raising an eyebrow. “I’m in the middle of telling a delicate secrete of mine, and you have the nerve to tell me to hurry up? John heard Sarah voicing her irritation. “No,” he answered. “I… I didn’t mean it like that.”
