There were already a lot of things for them to worry about at that point. They knew that it was possible that they would get separated and placed in different classes. This was not something that they liked to imagine. For this pair, it was hard to feel relieved about what the future would mean for the two of them.

It was not their parents who chose to do this. In this area, the kids were enrolled depending on the region. Still, their parents promised to set playdates.
