No matter how old a child is, book fairs are one of the most exciting events that could happen at school. This, to Mrs. Nabors’ regret, distracted her from doing the usual bag search before the fair began.

Seeing as all the second graders got all wound up, it took a while to get them to focus on their morning work. For this reason, the normal routine took longer than usual. In fact, Mrs. Nabors almost forgot to do the bag search altogether.
