Most people know George Takei from the popular series “Star Trek” from the role of “Hikaru Sulu”. He came out in 2005 when he was 68 and married his partner Brad Altman three years later. They are the first same-sex couple to be licensed to marry in West Hollywood. Today, the two have been together for almost 30 years and are very involved in the LGBT community.

Tom Ford & Richard Buckley
Famed fashion designer Tom Ford has been married to former Vogue Homme editor Richard Buckley since 2014. The two became a couple about 25 years ago. They first met in an elevator at a mutual friend’s fashion show. In an interview with People Magazine, Tom said it was love at first sight. Today they have a son together and the family commutes between New York, Los Angeles and London.
