The post had already gone viral by the time Emmit got to his destination. He couldn’t believe the number of times it was shared and the number of people who commented on it. So many people have commended his actions from all around the world. Emmit was dismayed, however, instead of being thrilled about the advertising.

Emmit thought his post had gone viral for the wrong reasons, later leading him to write, “This racist stuff is definitely an issue, but this is not the solution to that issue.” He had plenty of time during his flight to think about what had happened. He knew that he needed something to do about it.
