Christine Amanpour
British-Iranian journalist and host Christine Amanpour started as a desk assistant at CNN in 1983 before becoming a correspondent and eventually the network’s chief international correspondent and an anchor of her own program. In March 2010, she left CNN for ABC News, but in January 2012, she went back to CNN, where she hosts the nightly interview show Amanpour She is still among the most successful female interviewers and anchors today.
Betty Nguyen
Nguyen started out as a morning reporter and anchor at a CBS affiliate. She covered breaking news events, including the Columbia disaster. She then joined CNN and anchored the CNN Newsroom weekend morning edition. During her six years at the network, she covered major news events like the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, presidential elections in Africa, and the passing of Pope John Paul II. She has also worked for CBS, NBC, and MSNBC.
