However, this person chose to avoid work entirely that day, because her psychic advised her that if she left her house she would suffer a brain hemorrhage! We’re all for open-mindedness, but this one seems a bit over the top. We wonder if she could’ve worked from home?

This employee must have been quite embarrassed to have made this call, which indicates that it could be true. He couldn’t come into work, because he simply didn’t know where he was! We’ve all heard of stories where people have gone out and had a wild night, forgetting all the night’s antics and waking up in a strange place; come on, we’ve all seen The Hangover. Perhaps he shouldn’t be going out drinking on a work night! Still, if you’re from New York and you’re waking up in California, it’s easy to see why you won’t be able to make it in to work that day.
