During the interview, he said, “We all went to a kind of semi-private party that night, and she was there, and she looked incredibly calm and cheerful, and I just remember she had a cracking headache, too, because she wasn’t used to wearing a tiara all morning.” Diana wore the Spencer Tiara, who had been in Diana’s family for almost a century.
