Oliver didn’t let the fact that his neighbor had caused him so much trouble change the way he interacted with his neighbors, even though it would have been simpler for him to harbor resentment. His objective had been accomplished, and he realized that harboring resentment toward his neighbor would not serve him well, despite the fact that his neighbor did deserve it.

Lesson Learned
It’s possible that we don’t fully understand Oliver’s relationship with his neighbor at this point in time. On the other hand, if there is anything that can be gleaned from this narrative, it is the significance of asserting one’s individuality in a manner that is respectful and nonviolent, just as Oliver did.
