Before meeting her, he never talked anything about himself and instead avoided all of her questions. He was an only child who was orphaned shortly after starting college, according to his story. He stated he was still unmarried after a brief relationship in college, and that he, like her, had recently relocated to Colorado. This was why she hadn’t questioned their wedding’s lack of friends and family. But now it all felt a little odd.
