Celine is the recipient of the highest honor one can get in Quebec, The National Order of Quebec. Aside from that, she has stars on both the Canadian and Hollywood Walks of Fame. She also received an honorary doctorate from Laval University. She said it was “a very great honor for a little girl from Charlemagne.” When she received the award, she dedicated it to Rene.

Before Celine was born, a famous French singer by the name of Hugues Aufray came out with a song called “Celine”. She was just 5 years old when she performed it at the wedding of one of her brothers. It is thought to be the breakthrough moment of her career! She came from a family of musicians, although they realized that there was something special about the youngest child after this.
