On Super Bowl Sunday, temperatures in Los Angeles reached well into the 80s. Fans, many of whom traveled from outside L.A. to witness the game, were unfazed by the heat however. When asked about the hot weather, Bengals fan Quentin Short remarked, “This is our winter. The National Weather Service later stated that Sunday’s game did not break or even come close to breaking the previous record for warmest Super Bowl. Still, it must’ve been tough playing in those temperatures!

The Los Angeles Rams rallied to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in surprising manner in Super Bowl LVI, winning 23-20 at home in SoFi Stadium, claimig the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the process. With 6 minutes and 13 seconds remaining and the Rams behind 20-16, Matthew Stafford guided the Rams on a 15-play, 79-yard drive finished by a one-yard touchdown pass to Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp, who had also converted a vital fourth down conversion earlier in the series.
