Tennis icon Billie Jean King flipped the ceremonial coin toss prior to the game. The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs, members of the High School Girls Flag League of Champions, and girls youth tackle football players from the Inglewood Chargers and Watts Rams were among the honorary coin toss captains.

The Rock Was A Real ‘Hype-Man’
The Rock pumped up the audience just before the game began. “Finally, the Super Bowl has come back to Los Angeles,” Johnson said in introducing the teams. “It is time for all of us here, and millions around the world, to bear witness to these incredible players who will leave every ounce of sweat, guts and pride and legacy on this field, because that is what champions do.”
He ended by saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to say finally: It is time for the Super Bowl!”
