Vivien Leigh
Vivien Leigh had to deal with the fact that her natural beauty had a tendency to overshadow her talents. In fact, one director even said she was a “consummate actress, hampered by beauty.” Best known for A Streetcar Named Desire and Gone with the Wind, her on-screen works do not hold a candle to her prolific stage career. She fought tuberculosis but ultimately died in 1967.
