She received Oscar nominations for her performances in Come to the Stable and The Farmer’s Daughter. She and Grant Withers were married from 1930 to 1931, but she and Spencer Tracy were also romantically involved.

English actress Jacqueline Bisset has been active in the biz since the ‘60s. Maybe you recognize her from Day for Night and The Deep. The latter was important to her career! It had the wet T-shirt scene that spawned wet T-shirt contests. She mostly did small screen projects after this.
