Almost two years after their marriage, Ringo and Maureen became parents to their second child, Jason. Even when he was younger, Jason maintained his status as the family’s secret rebel. When he was seven years old, his parents separated and divorced. Ringo was granted visiting rights with Maureen’s sons, while Maureen was awarded custody of each of her sons. Jason, like many other divorced children, began behaving inappropriately. He began to get himself into a lot of trouble and to run into legal problems as a result of his actions. In 1987, when he was 20 years old, he was charged with £125 in fines for attempting to rob a vehicle stereo. He was previously accused of cocaine use a couple of years ago.
