Garbage Disposal Odors
Sometimes you toss an item in your garbage disposal and it leaves behind a nauseating odor; you can either spend lots of money on a cleaner for this, or you can turn to your trust baking soda/vinegar mix for help. First you’ll need to run hot water down your drain for about a minute before pouring in a quarter cup of baking soda into the drain. Turn the disposal on, but only for about two seconds. Let this sit for ten minutes, then add a cup of vinegar; you should notice the bubbles starting to develop. End the procedure by running more hot water down the drain until it all seems to be cleared out.
