However, viewers watching her on the show reportedly realized fairly quickly what was blossoming between the two of them. Michael Steed, the director, claims that at least. He worked on “Parts Unknown” and discussed how wonderful their premiere episode was in the documentary “Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain.” He compared it to a “high school” romance and said that he could see the two of them falling in love throughout the episode.
