Rose McGowan wrote about Anthony Bourdain in an open letter
Rose McGowan is one person who doesn’t think Asia Argento is to blame for the chef’s demise. Anthony Bourdain and the actress were friends, and she wrote an open letter about his passing and his connection to Agento. She claimed they had a “free relationship” and “loved without borders,” so Bourdain shouldn’t have been bothered by another man. McGowan also mentioned that both of the characters had mental health problems, but Asia was able to overcome hers to the point where she could continue. Anthony, however, lacked my strength. According to the actress, the chef “put down his armor” and struggled to follow any medical advice because his “depression didn’t let him,” which led to the unavoidable outcome.
Anthony Bourdain passed away in June 2018 after taking his life
Just a few weeks shy of turning 62, Anthony Bourdain’s tragic life came to a heartbreaking end on June 8, 2018. He reportedly was in France at the time, working with Éric Ripert on an episode of “Parts Unknown.” Actually, it was Ripert who reportedly discovered Bourdain unconscious in his hotel room. Living as long as he did may have come as a surprise to Bourdain. Given that he once told CNBC that he thought he should have died in his 20s, it appears that he believed he was living on borrowed time. Anthony compared his existence to driving a stolen car, constantly scanning the rearview mirror “for flashing lights.”
